North sign Shaun Higgins until 2018 at $400k a year: B Grade Higgins had a decent year in 2014 at around 20 touches a game and the price is more than fair. The contract is really until 2017 as there is a trigger clause for 2018 which is a smart move. Higgins is a fairly consistent player always making double digit possessions in every game he played, I expect him to progress with a better team around him at North Melbourne. My only concern is Levi Greenwood, Richmond are circling for him and he is as of now not contracted for 2015, so will the Roos let an extremely promising young talent slip through their fingers by putting Waite and Higgins contract before his? That drops the grading for me down from a B+ to a B. -JW
