Northampton’s North Street neighborhood is quiet once again NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Pan Am railway has removed the rail cars that have been housing workers behind homes for several weeks. Workers improved the tracks for future high speed rail service. Some neighbors are happy to see them go. The neighbors had complained about the noise from the generators aboard the rail cars.
