Northeast Ohio is home to some of the states safest communities, according to Real estate blog Movoto. Real estate blog Movoto recently listed the 10 most secure spots in the Buckeye state, and six of those communities are right here in Northeast Ohio. Coming in at No. 1 was the city of Hudson. Second place went to Solon. Strongsville, North Ridgeville and Parma came in fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively, and Stow was No. 9. Movoto says it came up with its rankings by analyzing crime statistics, including murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary, theft and vehicle theft. Other Ohio cities that made the top 10 include Upper Arlington (2nd), Mason (7th), Athens (8th) and Centerville (10th).
