Northern Govs Condole Fashola over father’s Death The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) has commiserated with the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola over the death of his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Ademola Fashola. Chairman of the forum and Governor of Niger State, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu described the death of Alhaji Fashola as a big loss to the Lagos helmsman and the entire people of Lagos State, especially that it came at a critical period when the advice and guidance of elders like the late Alhaji Fashola are required to address myriad of problems confronting the nation. In a condolence message signed by Governor Aliyu’s spokesman, Danladi Ndayebo, the forum urged Governor Fashola to be consoled by the fact that his late father lived a life of service to God and humanity. The forum advised Governor Fashola not to be discouraged by his father’s death, but should forge ahead with the enormous task of repositioning Lagos State. The forum said the best tribute that Governor Fashola can pay to his late father is to continue to touch the lives of the people of Lagos positively like he has been doing since he became the Governor of the state six years ago. It prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and members of his family and the people of Lagos State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Danladi Ndayebo Chief Press Secretary
