Northland turned on a fantastic AGM dinner (with an NZSA 80th birthday theme - complete with specially-designed posters celebrating each decade and an appropriately booky birthday cake) and a very well-attended workshop programme. The meeting was also rather fiery as various members commented upon our proposed structural reforms. Great to see passionate members in full voice. The proposal and rationale will be circulated to all members in the coming weeks. There will be plenty of time for members to comment and input, and we welcome everyones thoughts, ideas and feedback. The more members who engage with the process the more likely well end up with a dynamic new Society better suited to the needs of our members and ready to face the challenges of the digital age. Exciting times!
