Martins dark, edgy and harsh approach to writing then perhaps youll find something intriguing in the first entry into my own book series in progress entitled The Witness to Unsightly Truths. Brief Synopsis: Kyle Griffins a college freshman whom comes back to his dorm after a night of partying and extremely heavy drinking only to stumble upon the murder of his roommate at the hands of an extra-terrestrial. Now scapegoated for the crime which bad news for him is, but another instance in a string of similar murders occuring on campus, Kyle must find a way to clear his name and expose the truth of his circumstances with save for a few believers, the entire school and those whom he seeks to expose more than eager to see him fall for the crime. So yeah its Sci-Fi/thriller rather than Dark Fantasy, but hey theres loads of characters, an atmospheric, unforgiving and harsh setting and a slew of blood thirsty aliens to satisfy your craving for some good reading.
