“Not Everyone Will Like” #Battlefield Hardline, Says #DICE Producer DICE LA Producer David Sirland, who recently took part in an interview with #MP1st, stated that not everyone will like, as its quite different from previous Battlefield titles. Hardline is a different flavor of Battlefield. It’s not a replacement, it’s a different flavor. Not everyone will like it. We hope most people like it, obviously, but not everyone will. And, Battlefield is still Battlefield and we will keep on supporting it. The same could be said for any game series really, so this is probably just nitpicking stuff. You cant make EVERYONE happy, especially when it comes to games. The biggest difference with the setting of Hardline is that its based around cops and robbers, instead of the now exhausted military outlook. Sure, remove those skins and you could still call it Battlefield, but the objectives will make it feel a little different, and the newly announced chase game mode should add a new spin to the series. DICE and #EA have held back Hardline until next year, which is a very bold move for the publisher, for the first time seeing them avoiding a head-knocking release alongside #CallofDuty. We actually see this as a good thing, as theres certainly enough space for both to co-exist and be enjoyed, and this time, you wont have to fight over which one to play first. Were just hoping that the delay can be spent fixing the server issues that burdened many of the upset fans of Battlefield 4. Second time lucky? We bloody hope so!
