Not The Birds Wednesday! Filmed in Sonoma County: Flubber. The great Robin Williams started in this 1999 remake directed by Les Mayfield. Flubber was shot all over the bay area from the City to Stanford to Stockon to Vallejo and Petaluma. The negatives and dailies were processed at Monaco Motion Picture Film Labs in San Francisco. I worked nights there while going to college when Flubber was being shot. One of the cool perks of the job was being able to see a lot of raw footage before shooting was even done. ow.ly/FjJ9n
