Not a NH mountain, or a 4K for that matter, but whatever. Hiked Mount Ascutney (3,130) in eastern VT today. Did not see a single person the entire time, despite taking the Weathersfield Trail (most popular route to top). Light traction was good enough, although some spots would better in full traction. The trail as a whole was pleasant, but the upper 0.4 mile could use some maintenance. True summit has a couple communications towers, but theres an observation tower nearby that has good views and provides some relief. Oh yeah, and it was COLD! Probably why I didnt see anyone besides a few deer ;) . Roundtrip distance was 5.9 miles with 2,250 feet of gain. Heres the video from this cold adventure: youtu.be/WrlOMDwGISU
