Not a big fan of Vick, his accuracy is terrible, even before the jail time, yet people loved the guy because he ran when he supposedly didnt think his receivers were open.... That is called poor defensive reading on his part. Also, to the people bringing up his past with the dog fighting, which before I go into what I will say, I am a dog owner and love my dogs, but you should realize that he isnt the only person to do it, hell, dog fighting has been around since bull baiting way before our times, yet you still criticize the man for his past actions? I mean, I understand some people had a bad taste left in their mouth over the situation, but on some serious talk, people have been doing the same for for centuries, it is nothing new, and the only reason Vick gets heat for it is because of his high profile status as a professional athlete. If youre a Jets fan, why quit being a Jets fan because of a signing? Ray Lewis was on trial for murder, yet people still love the guy, which he was a beast as a linebacker. But, I honestly dont care for this signing, and before I get heat for saying my piece, please know I am against animal cruelty, and that what he did I do feel it was completely wrong, but let the man breathe, Im pretty sure he gets enough of it in public, hell, he cant even go anywhere near or gain employment at a Pet Smart. Also, look at it this way, it is a ONE year deal, he will help push Geno Smith to a new level, which will be to be better than Michael Vick, so just ride the storm, he will be gone come next off season.
