Not a good day today...I so needed to go somewhere for a happy distraction but it didnt happen & it was nice weather too that was wasted on me. When someone loses a spouse whether it be through separation, divorce, or death..or even lost a parent or a child...the rest of the world goes on...but for the the person left behind it is ever present...especially on special days that they should have been sharing together...today I should have been celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary but I guess God has other plans for me...even if he didnt....my husband made his own plans that didnt include me. I dont want a bunch of advice on how to get over it...do charity work...take a trip...join a club...etc....easier said than done when you are alone. I am just pointing out to people that if you know someone that is alone for some reason...especially on a day that meant something to them...think of them...include them once in a while...I am sure they will appreciate it. =o)
