Not a good start to my morning. Driving on 695 a tractor trailer merges halfway into my lane and STOPS! I tried to change lanes but couldnt bc of the on coming traffic, so I honked my horn to get his attention and then slammed on my brakes. All I could say was Thank you God for small favors and protecting me from hurt, harm, and danger seen and unseen. Then I checked my phone only to learn that a wonderful man who saw potential in me and gave me the opportunity to be apart of a great musically talented family, passed away. Anyone who knows me know that in high school band was my LIFE!! It was how I left my mark on City and Mr. Wallace was the father of the band. That is what makes this hard to take in. Im glad I was able to see him one last time before this happened and to the family Corey Wallace you guys have my deepest sympathy. Thank you for sharing your dad with us for so many years. I know in my heart he will be deeply missed. Rest easy Mr. Music man and when I hear a soft tune in the wind, I know its you directing the angels with their harps.
