Not a great photo, but this is the only Andrew Stewart Jamieson original I have framed (at the moment... I have several more for the framer in time). This is one of Andys earlier pieces. It was, if I recall, a piece he did as a student at Reigate. It is a stunning piece! Within a border of shields and banners of the Cirt of London, the worshipful guilds, and the arms of the Sovereign, and The Lord Mayor, Dick Wittington, is a poem about the English capital. If the calligraphy and heraldry werent enough, there is a wonderful figure of The Lord Mayor and his famous cat under a city scape of Medieval London (complete with heads on pikes!) if I own any Jamieson of commercial value, this is it. But... I rather like knowing I have the only one!
