Not a growing post but an Organic one never the less. I purchased a couple bags of industrial size Baking Soda at Costco for $7 for like 5lbs each. Spread it out into a large baking dish and into the oven at 400 degrees for 30-45 minutes. The baking turns it into a low/no suds washing soda. It performed awesomely in my low water LG front loader machine. I finally removed the musty smell out of my clothes that this low water front loader tended to leave behind. This would be great for those with septic tanks, and especially those that do not like added perfumes.
