Not a rant, but just an observation: I am sitting here watching Behind Enemy Lines. Back in the day (1993-1999), I pulled for the Kosovar Albanians and the Bosnians as they warred with the Croats and the Serbs in the break up of Yugoslavia (an artificial construct of the treaty of Trianon in 1920). For sure, Serbs did a bit of ethnic cleansing and mass graves were found. Not all of these belonged to them as atrocities were committed on all sides. The Muslims of both areas now heavily assist Al-Qaeda and are frequently turning up supporting jihad worldwide, running guns and money and even running heroin from Afghanistan to Europe and beyond. The Muslims in these areas are now doing their own ethnic cleansing by low key murder, Sharia and intimidation including burning churches against Orthodox Christians in the Kosovo province and in Bosnia. Of course the western media reports little on any atrocities committed by the Muslims. Guess we backed the wrong horse in that race, eh? My point? Never be so smug to think you get it right every time and always, ALWAYS be careful on siding with Muslims in such a dispute. The Yugoslav Civil War illustrates this completely. However, remember that we assisted the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan in the 80s in that great theater, The Cold War. It came back to bite us in the ass when the power vacuum left behind when the Soviets pulled out eventually filled with hard-line Muslim madrassa students who called themselves the Taliban.
