Not a single judge who took these trips to beaches, golf resorts, Macedonia ... yeh, seriously, Macedonia ... should get even one vote when they are up for re-election. And, theres only one exception in the whole bunch. Judge Karen Herman didnt seek reimbursement for any out-of-town trip in the 18 moths analyzed, and billed the public for only one CLE event: $225 for registration at a conference in New Orleans. And, thats the way it should be! There are seminars right in New Orleans that will provide 100% of your hours in two days. Shameful!
