Not all police are looking for a reason to shoot and he would have been justified in this case. We have a serious problem in this country with police brutality, people who accuse all police of brutality and police who are brutal. The only thing that will clean this behavior up is civility and leaving the prejudice at the door. If you commit an unlawful act, a badge should not protect you, if you commit an unlawful act as a civilian you should receive due process. There is a culture that has been excepted in our society through media and social economic manipulation. The same prejudices we sometimes complain about we also promote, all people of Color are bad, all police are bad etc. We must identify who the bad people are on both sides without condemning a whole group.
