Not because I want anyone to feel bad for me but because Id like to talk to as few people as possible about it in person. This little dog was loved by many and one a lot of people will ask about. I think Miley must have gotten bit by a snake yesterday at the barn. Sadly We had to say goodbye to her way to early in her cheerful little life. Not being familiar with snake bites I thought there had to visibly be a bite and immediate swelling and there was not. With as big of a whimp as miss Miley was we chalked it up to her getting hung in the fence or something. She seemed ok when I left for work but when I returned everything was apparent, still no bite mark but all the other signs were there. I put her in our bed one last time and she took her last breath about 20 minutes later. So for those of you that have pets in snake country... If it seems possible take them to the vet ASAP because trust me we feel terrible that we may have been able to help her.
