Not because its anyones business....and certainly not because I think anyone cares....and....not because Im in need of a pat on the back...but today I learned something....again ! The best cure for a ruptured relationship is an open heart. I managed to have a great few moments with my landlord and his wife. Its suddenly fixed. I met a lovely woman who at 45 looks 35 and is sweet and kind and open and....for all I know....desperately searching for a lifeboat. Shes a professional baker at the hoity toity hotel here and works 18 hour days for 12,000 baht a month which is like $400 and supports her mother and sends her son to technical school on it and made my evening although my Thai sucks and her English is almost as bad. She asked me when Id like to see her again and was very nice to me and funny ....in a What the hell did she say? kind of way. BUT I dont want to be one of the old, wrinkled, lech Farangs who come here and buy a companion because they are great at making money and lousy at having anything anyone else can tolerate having around. Anyway....was a good day. Hope you had one too!
