Not being obligate carnivores, we are the only animals who consume - TopicsExpress

Not being obligate carnivores, we are the only animals who consume other animals who have to cook their flesh before consuming it (or the pathogens would kill us); were also the only ones who have to flavor it to make it palatable. Not being obligate carnivores, we dont crave the flesh of animals, but we do crave fat, salt, flavor, texture, and familiarity. The flesh of my leg would taste just as good as that of a pigs if you cured, salted, and smoked it. --- Colleen - Patrick - Goudreau
