Not condoning the teachers behavior at all, but some of the students in these schools have no respect for the teachers in the school and they are constantly bombarded with aggression from the student everyday. Can you imagine going to work everyday and you are harassed by people at your job? Youd get fed up and then snap if nothing is being done to correct the action. Teachers are humans too and they can only take so much when the student is just as big as them and they are being challenged every single day they are there to teach. Teachers nor anyone else should be subjected to being harassed at work. The parents cannot be totally at fault either. They cannot possibly control all aspects of what the child is taking in and looking to try since they have all day just to try new ways to get over. Also, the rules of parenting are far different from what they were in the past. Children typically have more parental rights than the parents(not really, but there are laws made that prevent you from being creative with your child to correct their behavior). Lawyers have made it so that they feel they know what to do and have made laws through child agencies to help enforce those laws. You are supposed to talk to a child....like that actually works. Talking does not work for all people just like whooping a butt does not either. As a sensible parent you are there everyday and know your child and what they possibly need. This is messed up that the teacher may lose her job over being harassed more than once from a troubled teen attempting to show severe disrespect. I wish the teacher the best, and for this child....well, I believe in old school solutions and I will never believe anything different.
