Not content with claiming that Birmingham was ISIS HQ, the amazing Fox News has solemnly announced that much of Paris is now under Muslim rule. Theyve got wax crayon drawings of it done by someone who once stopped over somewhere in Europe on their way to a window lickers convention in Estonia or something to prove it. The mayor of Paris was understandably rather upset and has forced a retraction. Several times. However, she is still jolly angry and is now thinking of suing the whole of Fox News! I imagine that will be tricky once Murdochs lawyers get on the case but it could be quite entertaining in a sort of slowing down to stare at road accidents sort of way. The thing I dont get though, is this: Having watched Fox News a few times, why would anyone bother suing them? Surely the most cursory glance at their programmes is sufficient to conclude that its not news at all, but angry drivel made up by bug eyed twits so far to the right of mainstream thinking that theyd make Hitler blush? How could anyone, anyone at all, even a crazed inbred imbecile with severe head trauma, on hallucinogens living in a bin bag who spends their day shouting incoherently at cats take Fox News seriously even for a second? It is no more News than an episode of Spongebob! Their morbid fear of religious extremists is especially ironic given that virtually all of their so-called journalists could be categorised as such! I look forward to finding out from Fox News what other nations have now been taken over by terrorists, socialists, women, minorities, scientists or any other threat to the American Dream according to some highly paid expert who hasnt left his home made nuclear shelter at the bottom of their garden in Iowa for twenty years and is only now discovering that dried cat food on its own doesnt provide a balanced diet. Perhaps the best thing about Fox News though, is this - that their slogan is Fair and Balanced!!! Genius.
