Not enough poetry in films these days; maybe theres not enough poetry in life these days. The prose below was written by actress Felicity Jones, a rare breed of the non-Estella-esque, thespian-wordsmith, for the 2011 rom-dram Like Crazy. Beautiful scene; a truly graceful and charming offering from Director Drake Doremus. I suspect the poetry below is about all the things that make love difficult - all the things that dont come into focus until much later, when the whimsical mystery has worn off and reality takes hold. The gory bits.
