Not entirely true but close. Id argue that with more shots taken accuracy suffers. In the first place, there arent that many good looks for a player in a game (or he would be taking that many) so hed be forcing up bad shots to hit that number of attempts. Now, hed make more bad shots that the average player to be sure but hes also human. Like a boxer, the more shots you take the more tired your arms and legs get and the less accurate you become down the stretch. So while hed average way more than anybody else throwing up more shots will hurt him too. His true gift is his efficiency.
