Not every Shabbat morning gets off on the right foot. Or even the - TopicsExpress

Not every Shabbat morning gets off on the right foot. Or even the left one. This AM, I awoke to my radio/alarm ~ which was alarming ~ talking about Golds value decreasing by 30% this year, with some people owning ATFs (???) instead of physical gold, and that the only thing that has INCREASED in value is gold storage companies... with a lot of these vaults being located in China... and on, and on... Quite a BLAST of non-Shabbat-type thoughts! (high level finance type stuff that is entirely beyond me...) So I prayed, after I got my coffee, to ask the Father WHAT if anything I should be thinking about that... In my spirit (or my imagination, depending on your belief system) the following verse went through my mind: ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Job 42:3 Or was it David?... Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:6 OK, dear Father. Please thank Job and David for me. Sitting with Your word today, instead of the things too wonderful for me.
