Not everybody can say they have a Mom who, for two months, flew to your home to cook dinner for you and your husband every night so you can adjust to having a new baby at home. As much as we are in love with our sweet baby, I was very down the first few weeks. I was sad, emotional, in complete physical pain all over, and adjusting to partial loss of sleep - I couldnt even rightly thank my Mom for her help in the beginning, let alone appreciate fully. But not only did she make us dinner each night, she made us REAL dinner with organic and farm raised products so that when I nurse Jaelle, she would have the healthiest and most nutritious milk possible. My Mom spent a lot of money on our little family these past two months, and I can never repay her - and she also will never ask me to, or manipulatively hint at it. She never brags about her countless acts of kindness that have touched probably thousands of people. That is because my mom is the most selfless mom I know. She never demands or expects anything for herself, almost to a fault. She esteems her kids high above herself and doesnt even notice when we overlook how strong, amazing and kind she is. Thank you so much, Mom. I love you so much, and I could never thank you enough for all of your help. I already miss you very much! I am looking forward to seeing you, Dad and Grandma next week
