Not everyones cuppa but may interest a few, all happening now in Scotland. The aircraft is N345AB - C47 known as Whiskey 7 seen here at Prestwick Airport yesterday on its journey back to Normandy for the D Day celebrations. This aircraft was in active service during D Day. After starting her journey in Geneseo, New York W7 will fly to Duxford, England by way of Presque Isle, Maine; Goose Bay, Labrador; Narsarsuaq, Greenland; Reykjavik, Iceland; Prestwick, Scotland; Ramstein, Germany; and Cherbourg, France with some 25 hours of flying time. In this shot W7 has a few days break at Prestwick Airport, Scotland before continuing on its epic journey to Normandy.
