Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, I house of Israel Ezekiel 36:32---God said His people (those who are saved) would be ashamed of their sins. In the passage in Ezekiel, Gods people had become so hardened that they had lost all sensitivity to sin. This sounds very much like the world we live in today---anything goes and nobody cares. God is telling them here that (1) they have to remember their sins, (2) they have to hate their sins, and (3) they have to repent (turn from) their sins. The same thing applies to us today!!! As we examine our lives, we might find that we, too, have lose our sensitivity to certain sins. Some may be sins that we do openly, but some may be sins of the heart. If we measure ourselves against Gods standards of right living, will we be ashamed??? To regain our sensitivity, we must recognize our sin for what it is, feel sorry for displeasing God, and ask His forgiveness. The Holy Spirit will guide us, making us and helping us to respond and receive Gods truth. It is so important for the Christian to continually examine ourselves to be sure that our lives line up with the Word of God!!! Its Sunday!!! Worship God (not just on Sundays but every day)!!! Love Yall!!!
