Not had a moan for a bit, so heres a bit of a moan. Something that has bothered me for a long time, tbh. B list, Z list and even A list actors or celebrities promoting gambling sites, how low can they stoop? In fact the whole Celebrity thing, in doing adverts gets me? The money they get is dead money, why not give that voice over work to young aspiring actors, where the money they get will be most welcome? Ant and Dec advertising Morrisons, is one I have just seen tonight. The concept of it, is that Morrisons are doing a range comparable with Aldi and Lidl. After they have shopped, they are outside, with their shopping. Remember this advert is trying to encourage the poorer people to shop at Morrisons. So Dec tells Ant, that the prices are comparable with Aldis and Lidls prices, Ants reaction is he looks horrified. Now if this was a real commercial, with a non celebrity in it, the person who would be told, would be very happy indeed, that Morrisons prices were the same as those two stores, wouldnt they? A case of life immitating, er, greed, I think?
