Not having a good day, sent broken leg crow to vet and he has a bad slanted fracture and the muscles are pulling the bones in opposite directions, leg needs to be pinned, had to send him to tufts, Im praying he is savable, and his other seemingly (not too bad) injuries, including the old fracture to his mandible will still make it possible to do the surgery. He banged his wing in the kennel on the way home and bled, I felt sick putting him in a box to send him away. Serifine the burnt crow is losing the outer layers of her toenails and now her lower beak, had to trim her upper beak because its become overgrown.. She needs a vet visit to re evaluate, poor girl is miserable here.. Im afraid of what dr c will say, I feel it in my gut on what I may have to decide for her. Been in tears for the baby and her, Ive been behind on feedings almost all afternoon, got 9 more wood ducklings and 4 more mallards, lost all the ducklings that came in yesterday, woody died first, but I knew the mallards would go to, can tell when they come in and they are just down, exhausted and depleted, one passed away in the night and the other passed away this morning , still Havnt has a chance to get in the shower, yuck
