Not in London, but worthwhile to take the Eurostar to Brussels for: The Underground Poetry Fest 19-21 September 2014 One weekend long we transform Jette into the international home of experimental poetry. We take you into the world of sound, visual and performance poetry and we will overwhelm you with performances, exhibitions, conferences and workshops for all ages. On Friday we start with an academic seminar about experimental poetry and open the exhibition with work from visual poets. That evening we serve you in avant-première This is Belgian Chocolate from Philip Meersman. Saturday we plunge you into the wonderful Dada-world of Maintenant with New York based Three Rooms Press and Sunday we close the festival with a Public Poem, the worldfamous Alain Arias-Misson passes through Jette with a caravan of poets and proclaims the Disunited Kingdom of Belgium.
