Not joking this time... We go to Reagans school to have lunch. Just lunch...so we thought! We are told by our Miss Regs that we SHALL be partaking of recess outside with her & friends after lunch, AND after that, we SHALL be sitting in front of her classroom to read a book AND answer several questions about ourselves! (Have I broke out into a sweat yet? Oh, I will!) The questions exactly as the youngsters asked them (still not joking!).... *Whats your favorite shape? ....Carol took all the cool ones...heart, star, triangle. I was left with circle, square or rectangle. :( *If you had to name a brand new state in our country, what would you name it? ....Oh boy. All I could think of was Happyville. Lame. I know. Carols answer was just as lame...Grannyville. We suck at this! *Whats your favorite letter? ...Uhhhhh.... well, I guess M for Mizzou. Crickets chirping & blank stares. They had no idea who or what a Mizzou was. Carols was L for love. Nothing but smiles & aawws from the crowd...and the old guy is losing the room, quickly! The high point of our visit was reading a very cool book about feelings. I did the narrative while Carol did the comic relief & facial expressions! Even the teacher was LOLing! All in all, a really fun visit!
