Not just anothe fb petition ask - I am rendered speechless with rage at the stupidity of the the people that brought this about and their proposal to dispose of long term hard assets from collective ownership in order to undo short term bankerisms failure. The grass roots co-operative movement has long recognised that co-op bank is less of a co-op and more like just another bank; recent revelations about PPI mis-selling (ethical banking??) and another £400M tranche of cash demand. Its clearly time for this farce to be cut loose from the movement and stripped of its co-op name.
