Not much facebook time lately . . . I guess being busy has pushed this to the back burner. What is making life so busy? Well . . . ~We already had Christmas with our boys and girls so Jody can go to PA to be with her mom when she has surgery on Friday. ~It has been really interesting portraying pastors from 1839, 1864, 1914 as we celebrate 175 years of ministry in Mason. What is now Mason Community Church has been a Baptist presence in Mason since founded in 1839 even though the building has changed from meeting in the school, then in the courthouse, then in the Methodist Church, then in the Baptist church in the 100 block of South Jefferson, and now on Columbia St. ~Hunting season always takes a portion of my time and attention, although the deer didnt do much to distract me this year . . . yet. ~Starting the Theology Classes grabs a few hours. ~Grabbing a few last rounds of golf before the year finishes . . . ~Normal stuff . . . along with cutting/splitting/stacking wood . . . ~Doing a bit of drop-in soccer to keep in shape and rekindle relationships with my buddies from Mexico, Ireland, and yes . . . the Lansing area. Ill try to find time to pontificate a bit more once Christmas is done . . . but for now? Well see. Take time for family. Enjoy the specials of this time of the year . . . whether food or fun . . . and keep Christ front and center.
