Not news worthy but in the news nonetheless : Burger King employees amongst others are preparing to strike because they say they cant live on their meager wages. Uhhhhhh......news flash ! Youre not supposed to stay there after you graduate from high school. You remember high school.....that place where you used to get stoned all day and skip classes to go skinny dipping up at the lake? Oh yeah thats why you work at Burger King now! In retrospect perhaps rocking out to we dont need no education was not the best idea huh? I guess Pink Floyd was not intended as career advice huh ? Educate yourself people and pull yourself up by your boot straps!!!! I hear there are some jobs out there where you can work really hard and learn a career that pays enough to live on that doesnt include setting timers on deep fryers. If you put minimal effort into obtaining a minimum education you should be prepared to make a minimum wage.
