Not normally into sharing BT stuff, but I just want to work you through the logic here. They are now complaining that Scotland by using a currency unilaterally would need to cut spending, as it could not run a deficit (lets ignore for the moment that this is sort of unture). Take that at face value for the moment, so we should stay in a Union which is imposing public spending cuts which Scots cant really influence, because Scotland would have to make public spending cuts. At least if Scotland had to make spending cuts, we could actually have electoral control and accountability of who impliments them.
