Not once did Obama use the word “compromise” in his address - TopicsExpress

Not once did Obama use the word “compromise” in his address today. The president said in one of his answers, after his short speech, that there will be items on his agenda that republicans simply cannot support. On the same token he said that there are things that republicans will put forward that they think will help the economy that from “his perspective” isn’t going to help improve the middle class situation. Here is the root of the problem ……. from “his perspective”. You would think by now that after 6 years of failure even he could figure out that “his perspective” is not correct. He needs to look at his own resume and be honest with himself, he does not have enough education, knowledge and certainly not enough experience to even be able to fathom the term “perspective” on the scale that it applies to the size of this nation. As for the rest of his speech today, that was supposed to tell America how he plans to work with the new congress, he did the exact opposite. He repeated what he has repeated time and again, what HIS AGENDA is and what he expects to see congress do for him. Not once did he express any will or desire to inject compromise into the equation. What he said that was most astonishing, is he once again reiterated that he has been doing a good job. Its not that he has not said this a hundred times before but you think that night might have made him sit back for a moment and make a personal assessment of himself and the job he has done. Maybe he in fact did, patted himself on the back and told himself its everyone else that is screwed up, hes doing just fine. This speech will certainly help Mitch begin to carve out his strategy going forward.
