Not once in the four weeks that Emily has been awake again has she complained about ANYTHING! Not about any of the tubes attached to her body, not about pain or discomfort, not about having a shaved head, not about being on a pureed diet, not about being home tutored nor even about being given homework by her tutor, not about Mr Matt, her PT, working her so hard, not about having to sleep downstairs in our dining room the first week she was home - not about anything at all. She has taken everything in her stride and has put her all into her rehabilitation without a single complaint. I am so very proud of her inner strength: her cheerful and accepting spirit, her determination, and the uncomplaining attitude she has exhibited throughout this ordeal. It reminds me of that quote I posted on this page a while back - though she be but little, she is fierce.
