Not only did Jason Webber give his classification talk but he was the winner of the 50-50 drawing, unfortunately he did not pick the ace of spades. Jason has been a football coach first at Madison HS and then at Old Orchard Beach HS. These two schools are arch rivals and the first time he went back to Madison as an OOB coach his mom held up a sign which My Son Is a Traitor. That is a tough crowd in Madison as they take their football very seriously Jason also will be celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary next week. CONGRATULATIONS!! Tony DeBarros thanked the members who helped served a meal at Bon Appétit as we do every second Friday of the month. Al Carignan had to pay a dollar for forgetting his award at the 25th anniversary celebration. The recent snow in Buffalo caused Sargent at Arms Jason Howe to have everyone less than the depth of the snow (6 feet) stand and then fined them a $1. Not wanting to miss out on a chance to raise additional money he made everyone not standing pay a dollar. Connie Minervino had a happy dollar for the awards her daughter won in field hockey. Lucie Hatch gave a report as the secretary of the club and also had a happy dollar as her granddaughter could not decide if she wanted to be a doctor or a rock star so she said she would be a singing doctor. Greg Cloutier reported to the club that six people have stepped up to run for a board of director’s position. Israel Collins is the new district chair of the Rotary students exchange program and participated in the program as a teenage exchange student to the Netherlands. Jeff Slaton reported to the club on his recent attendance at the district membership/foundation seminar. President Chris read a proclamation from RI President Gary C.K. Huang in recognition of the clubs 25th anniversary. There will be no meeting next week as we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with our families.
