Not only did i do a good deed today, I also made myself and an elderly women very happy. I was waiting in the queue to buy some items, the lady in front of me was having a problem. She was £1 short of the total amount and was planning to pay the £1 by card. To me, that seemed a silly idea so I offered to pay the £1 for her. By doing this she was so overwhelmed that she started crying in the shop. Her words were Ive had such a bad week and this has totally changed it and hugged me, all because i gave her just the £1 to help her. As she walked away with a huge smile she said I cant wait to tell my husband about this, Ill never forget you or what you just done for me. So today, not only did i make an elderly womens week go from bad to good, i also made myself happy that i had made a difference to someones day. Goes to show that the littlest of things can make an impact on people.😇
