Not sure how I feel about this one. I mean, how would blacks react if Tom Cruise played Malcolm X in the remake? This is like the third white character thats been replaced with a black face. From Kingpen in Daredevil, one of Charlies Angels, and now this one. While its something blacks celebrate as a good thing, in all honesty, would there be an outcry if black characters were replaced with white faces? Could Brad Pitt play Prince Akeem in the Coming to America remake without backlash? What about Billy Bob Thorton as Nick Fury in the upcoming Avengers? All Im saying is, we cant praise when we do it, but cry foul when they do it. Gotta be fair across the board.
