Not sure how many of you know, but after 55 episodes of a major TV show I have blown my back out so bad that Im scheduled for surgery on January 13. I hurt it late October and Ive tried alternative treatments and physical therapy that have not solved the issue. Working on the TV show has been a dream come true for me (being a Nashville native) but the reality is that my body may not be able to return. Back in the day, I put my heart and soul into every show I played on the drums and I gave my all on every episode of the TV show to make it a success for my city and the state of Tennessee. In January, I turn 53 and with successful surgery I should be back in action as soon as possible. No one knows what the future will bring, but I am so thankful of the life I have been given, and my girl Peggy, and my many friends out there in Facebook land. I hope this message finds everyone well and having a Merry Christmas and Id like to give a shout out to the set dec crew for making the TV show such a success! D
