Not sure how many others are bothered as my wife is about having all of your pictures stored on your PC or camera and only able to view them on that device. While there are other options, Picasa, etc, they all need a device to view them on. You can always upload to Shutterbug or or Snapfish and pay an arm or leg for prints. While watching an episode of Shark Tank the other night, I saw this guy and his wife getting funded for their new venture, I didnt jump right on it, I wanted to see if it would stick around. It has. Right now they only offer services through your smartphone. I dont see a problem with this at all as I use my phone for as many pictures as I do any of my high priced cameras. It actually takes better pictures. If your really into your devices, you can store any image from your PC onto your phones SD card as this is what you use to upload your images to GrooveBook. They are a subscription based company, $2.99 per month, and they will send you a photo album of 100 of your pictures free each month. Simply upload the images through he app on your smartphone. You have one month to upload 100 pictures. They will process them and return a photo book back to you in a week or so. Thats 100 photos a month for $2.99. If you dont have 100 images uploaded at the end of your billing cycle, they will duplicate prints you sent to fulfill 100 images. A duplicate book also only costs you $2.99..... This is one hell of a deal... Mark Cuban jumped all over this as did Mr. Wonderful, Kevin Oleary. Its been a couple of months now and the company is going strong. I dont usually send spam out in my narratives. Im just letting you know about this service. Im sure there are more than a handful of people I know who will use this service as I have. I just signed up and am in the process of uploading photos. At $2.99, you cant go wrong. And NO...I dont have any vested interest in this company..just passing along a good deal.......
