Not sure if anyone has already posted this but I attended last weeks public hearing and found it fascinating to hear peoples personal testimony on the issue. If you can testify and/or attend please do! The Chairmen of the Joint Committee on Higher Education have convened a Task Force. Come speak to the issue! Be heard. Public Hearings on College Inclusion for Students with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities The Task Force will convene at four colleges in Massachusetts, to hear from students, parents, teachers, administrators, and professors, about expanding access to higher education for students with Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities. Please come participate in one of these hearings. The Task Force is comprised of 14 members, who will collect community feedback about the current status of disability inclusion and prospects for expanded access to students with I/DD.
