Not sure that a tender heart is something I want to have passed on to my kids. Ive lost my smile and lost faith for this. -- But it has passed on to them. My kids work hard at hiding how they feel at times and I can see it and it hurts to watch them hurt. And sometimes they dont do so well at hiding it. Like tonight one of the ASPCA commercials came on and my daughter broke down in tears. All she heard was the music and she says to me, mom this makes me very sad. Then she looks at me and says, mom I need a hug. I am glad that I can still be of some comfort to them yet! I hope it will always be that way!
