Not sure what happened to my posts on Cotton and Curly Sue - Facebook ate them:( In March of 2013 Cotton became entangled in baling twine out in the barn. He was unable to get himself loose and the twine had sliced through the skin right to his abdomen as he struggled. His organs were exposed and he was calling for help. Fortunately I heard him and was able to find him and cut him loose right away. He was taken to the vet and I was instructed to keep the injury flushed out (by holding him in the sink under running water - NOT his favorite thing) and kept clean. 4 weeks later he was completely healed, and well on his way to becoming the gorgeous cat he is today.
