Not sure why so many preachers are becoming Seeker Sensitive, Positive Only and nice sweet little Life Coaches!!? Seems to me that the Cross is all about a bloody Savior who was tortured for 6 hours on the rugged cross, after terrible humiliation! Naked, disfigured, mauled by with a cat-o-nine tails, a shredded back, crown of thorns, blood streaming down his face and out of his side, suffered and crucified before Kings, Politicians, Soldiers, for wicked Sinners like us, Positive message? What??? What part of WRATH and Repentance is positive? There has to be a WOE, before the LO! In Isaiah 6:5-7, he saw the Glory of the LORD and said , WOE is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, LO, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. NOTICE PLEASE, WOE is me must happen before the LO thy sin is purged!!! Jesus said that REPENTANCE and REMISSION of SIN should be preached!!! Luke 24!! Come on wake up!! Of course the Gospel is good news but we must first preach the bad news!!! The WRATH of God is not a positive message! Unless it brings us to Christ! Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; We need some bold preachers NOW!!!!!!! Send them LORD! Have you not read, Isaiah 53:3- 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
