Not surprising. I know my cousins case is cold and Ive read documents that indicate a compromised investigation. It has been since 1989 and Ill never forget the call I recieved that year in May. At first the case was just considered an accident but after MANY people from here talked about that night they re-opened his case because there was enough evidence to do so. I guess thats ONE thing that the State did right. It still bothers me to this day knowing that he was killed and the killer(s) and accomplices are walking free. Free to raise a family and grow old. This is something that my cousin was denied. It is my hope that one day he will have justice and and my family and I can have closure.
