Not that I havent always cautioned against consuming high cholesterol foods and fat, but recently I have monitored my food intake to exclude foods that are not cholesterol and fat free and extremely low in sodium and whenever possible very low in sugar. I love vegetables and eat more vegetables and fruits than when I was a vegetarian and eat them far more than the vegetarians Ive known. Most of the vegetarians and vegans I knew filled up on grains and legumes. I have been doing so well that when I eat out, I am usually grossed out by the amount of salt and fat that I can taste. I am still trying to figure out portion sizes and a caloric intake that doesnt feel like I am force feeding myself.
