Not that Im really worried about people hating on what I do, specially when its for a good cause, but my friend Randall puts things in perspective. We all have different ways of approaching Electronic Music and Im sure weve all found unique ways IN TO the scene... do people really think that someone wakes up and finds Basic Channel (for example) on their first exploration of Electronic Music? Probably not! The world of Music (in general) is a lifetime exploration and discovery. Lets stop worrying about where people came from, whos been in the underground scene for X number of years and just realize that our scene is bigger than any of us could have ever imagined. Embrace the fact that Electronic Music IS a worldwide phenomenom and celebrate the diversity & depth of our genre AND the fact that we now have an incredibly large worldwide voice to help awareness of an important topic. Take your heads out of the sand, this is beyond underground.
